Bearded Irises were not a total loss this year. I think the change that I need to make, is keep them mulched with a loose wood chip mulch.
edith wolford is really beautiful. Bi-color is very eye catching. My iris is no way near as beautiful as yours. I think they are doing great if they all flower so well.
ReplyDeleteMine have incredible foliage but have very few flowers, only the solid yellow and purple bloomed; how boring.
I bet yours look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI thought they might be a total loss this year. I think the mulch saved them. So I will keep it on for next year and see what happens.
