Flowers blooming. 5.21.17

Iris but I forgot the name.

Red Peony

Snowball bush.  Gorgeous.  Viburnum "sterile".

One of the irises that survived in my iris bed.  "Gay Parasol".

Weigela.  I think it's "Wine and Roses" but I'm not sure.

    I'm always envious of people who can grow peony. I was able to when I was living in PA but in CA is a different story. I guess you have proper chill hours.

      There are lots of things that I can't grow! Peonies are nice because deer and rabbits don't eat them, they are low maintenance, and they look so nice. The only negative is, they take a long time to start blooming, after planting them.
