They were never pruned and grew multiple limbs and got bushy. I thinned a few limbs and headed them to 7ft from 12ft to open them up leaving 3 limbs per tree, there is a ton of blind wood mid to lower on these limbs. Do you have any advice if the lower area can be made productive by notching or the tree will automatically create branches from blind wood.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
